A morning session comprising of 2 short talks by Stephen Clark and Les Knight covering the geological structure of the Pennines and the impact of glaciers. In the afternoon there will be a guided field trip around the Keld area
Fliss Barker will be talking about all things pilgrimage and how Labyrinths can fit in.
Join Martin Hughes and Sue Knight. The talk will cover the basics of wild flower identification and will be followed by a field walk to spot Swaledale wild flowers. Please bring a packed lunch or sandwiches/salads are available to order
Join Helen Guy on this talk taking you on a journey through Swaledale, recalling the traditions, local stories and folklore. A rare glimpse into a way of life long forgotten in Swaledale. Refreshments served afterwards. Charge: £10 per person
Rev Nadene Snyman ( the Minister of Keld Chapel) explores what it means to be a child of God who lives in a new land, and the challenges that brings in a politically hostile environment. Explaining how to journey to
John Waggett once again will be providing an entertaining afternoon talking about growing up and working in Swaledale, and reciting some old poems in his strong Swardle dialect. This event will be held in Keld Village Hall. Refreshments served afterwards.
